These adorable placemats will add so winter cheer to any table. The hands are designed to hold flatware and napkins. The original mock up had a cute little hat, maybe that will be added to the pattern soon.

This super easy sponge is great, when ready to refresh just toss it in the wash. The tulle can be swapped out for all the great scrubby yarns on the market now. Also swap the worsted yarn for cotton yarn for more durability.
So I apologize I do not have a pattern for these placemats. I do have the link for the granny square hearts if that's what caught your eye.
This is a fun little scrubby to make up and works really well to get into small spaces. The tulle can be swapped out with a different scrubbing type of fiber especially now with all the choices on the market. The printable pdf does have photo tutorials as well for additional details and tips
Now these cute little guys and gal require a variety of yarn colors so I didn't use any one brand. I actually bought a lot of yarn off base in Japan so I don't have any color numbers or brands for the yarn. That being said let get started with the pattern.

AuthorI am a no nonsense kind of blogger. I hate pages filled with ads/pop-ups, and just a bunch of filler. I learned to crochet when I was about eight or nine by my grandmother. She was a tough teacher, if there were any mistakes she would rip the project out until she reached a spot she was happy with. Unfortunately I was engrained with that teaching style of perfection so it takes me a while to create patterns. If it's not perfect I am not posting it, unless I am looking for feedback which I turn to the lovely Facebook crochet groups for assistance. I have some patterns listed for free, they are untested so you may run into some questions which is fine feel free to reach out to me with any of those questions. Other than that I hope you enjoy my simple blog of fiberart. ArchivesCategories
